StructuredAnnotation

A StructuredAnnotation is an extended annotation which forms the basis for many other types of annotations thanks to its structuredDescription property, in which structured (JSON) data can be stored. The exact structure of this information will depend on the type property of the StructuredAnnotation.

In most cases, developers will interact with concrete subclasses of StructuredAnnotation, however, they can be used to properly store custom application-specific metadata for which no equivalent Annotation type exists yet.
